The Bungle Bungles- Info
The Bungle Bungles is a stunning natural phenomenon of beehive-like limestone formations. Their unusual tiger stripe colouring comes from algae that grows and within the pores of the honeycombed rock. Their beautiful red/orange color results from a combination of manganese and iron that stains the rock.
The Bungle Bungles was originally home to Western Australia’s Aboriginal people, who lived their during the wet season. Being home to a wide selection of wild life and plant life, the area provided the perfect place to live. Until the mid 1980s, the area was relatively unknown to white man. This changed, however, when in 1987 it was named a national park. Much later, in 2003, the are gained worldwide recognition when it was inscribed into the World Heritage List.
Whether you’re a tourist from overseas, or an Aussie who has never truly experienced the outback, you’ll get an amazing holiday experience with 4WD rental in the Bungle Bungles. 4WD Rooftop Camper Rental
A happy customer recently sent us this terrific photo of one of our rooftop campers in action. As you can see, our 4WD rental allows you to escape to secluded locations off the beaten track. And with the roof top tent, setting up camp couldn’t be easier.
Rooftop Camper Rental – Portable and Ready-to-Go
Customers often comment about how great it feels to travel light. With a roof top camper, there’s no need to tow a caravan or trailer. Everything is compact and lightweight. Easy setup allows to kick back and relax at the end of the day. Just as importantly, fast and easy pack down means you get going sooner. Who wants to spend hours rolling and packing tents? With a roof top camper, you don’t have to worry about wet tent floors or sweeping out sand.
Sleep Off the Ground
If you’re afraid of creepy crawlies, you’ll feel safer in a roof top tent.
- You’ll be less likely to be plagued by ants and other ground creepers.
- You’ll also be high and dry – which, despite the usual connotation, is a great thing to feel when you’re sleeping in the great outdoors! Even in warm weather, condensation can make normal tent floors damp and difficult to pack away. Renting a 4WD roof top camper avoids this problem.
- You’ll enjoy a smooth sleeping surface without uncomfortable rocks, sticks or slopes to make sleeping impossible.
Traveling in a Group?
If you’re traveling with a group, you can choose to hire a rooftop camper 4WD together with a camping trailer. This gives you plenty of sleeping space and all the camping gear you need for a fantastic holiday.
Disadvantages?
Not many really! Probably the biggest disadvantage would be that you have no permanent camp site. In other words, you need to pack up your tent when you want to drive away for the day. If you’d rather leave everything set up for a few days, you might consider hiring a camper trailer with one of our 4WDs.
As you can see from the photo, rooftop camper rental is a wonderful way to experience Australia. If you’re keen to give it a go, give us a call or use the easy ‘quote’ form on this website to contact us today.

4WD with Trailer Combo hire is a new addition to our offering. And we’re pleased to say it’s proving a big hit! It’s especially great for groups who want to holiday together.
For example, we have two families who are sharing the hire of a 4wd+trailer combo. They can all travel in the 4WD by day and then sleep in the trailer/4WD camping tents by night. There’s enough room for everyone in the group to sleep and travel in comfort.
4WD with Trailer Hire Gives You Off-road Freedom
A great advantage of the 4WD plus trailer hire combination is that it’s an off-road setup. The trailers themselves are high-grade off road vehicles tough enough to handle Australia’s rugged terrain. That means you can go anywhere with confidence.
Sharing the cost of Australian 4WD hire between two families is a fantastic idea… and adding the extra camping trailer makes it all possible.
If you’d like to join in the fun, give us a call today. There’s a 4WD with Trailer Hire Combo deal waiting for you!
